My name is Travis Morris. My home is a eleven acre fenced pasture between Cleburne and Joshua, Texas. My four bedroom farm house is nestled beneath large hundred year oaks. I have a stock pond in the lower pasture. I stocked it with bass but the neighbor boys like to fish.
I love to garden. I have a garden fenced off about 100 feet by 70 feet. This year I covered the garden with oak leaves from last years fall and plants tomatoes, okra, watermelons and peppers. With this summers 100+ degrees and little rain the leaf mulch I applied is really a life saver. The plants just keep growing.
I share this paradise with my wife, Vivian, and one son, seven cats, and a flock of peacocks. Four of my children are living close by. My only son, Jared, has CP and will be with us always. We are active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and involved in genealogy. Vivian is the director of our local Family History Center, President of the local genealogy society and quarterly editor for that society. I am the the project manager and web page editor.
I am a retired telephone technician and have done consulting work in the telecommunications industry all over the United States. At present I am managing a switch site in Dallas for WinStar, so I do have the opportunity to pursue my pleasures at home.
