Whether you are trying to establish your herd of Texas Longhorn cattle,
or maybe just need some advice on how to change the direction of your current
herd, call me and let's get together. I have experience as a judge
and am currently listed with the International Texas Longhorn Association
(ITLA).
With my experience I can help you select cattle to add to your program
and recommend choices for herd sire purchase or pasture leases. It
is imperative that you pay close attention to the pedigree of your cattle
if you desire to increase the quality (and also the value) of your herd.
Let me evaluate your current herd and assist you with the choices that
every ranch owner must make.
The two largest breed associations that register Texas Longhorn Cattle are the Texas Longhorn Breeders Association of America (TLBAA) and the International Texas Longhorn Association (ITLA). Both of these groups are headquartered in Fort Worth and has an extensive (but separate) show circuit. It is very important to maintain the pedigree of your herd. Let me assist you by setting up and maintaining your ranch herd book.
There are definite benefits to having an experienced ranch manager assist
you. I can easily be reached by phone or e-mail.
